xAI announced the Grok Build Plugin Marketplace on June 11, a built-in catalog that lets developers browse, install, and update plugins without leaving the terminal. The marketplace opens with partner plugins from MongoDB, Vercel, Sentry, Chrome DevTools, Cloudflare, and Superpowers. Each plugin bundles skills, slash commands, agents, hooks, MCP servers, and language server protocol support into one installable package. Every plugin in the catalog is pinned to a specific commit SHA and verified at install time to prevent supply-chain attacks. Developers can access the catalog via the /marketplace command inside Grok Build, or through CLI commands. xAI is also accepting community submissions via a pull-request process on GitHub.
