According to a company announcement carried by PR Newswire and Yahoo Finance, Innovative Eyewear has added Anthropic's Claude to its entire Lucyd smart eyewear lineup, free for all customers through the Lucyd app. Users open the app, pick a Claude model, and talk to it through the glasses' audio interface, and can switch between Claude and ChatGPT mid-conversation without losing context. The update also brings AI image generation, document analysis, conversation history, web-sourced answers, and a private chat mode. A hands-free version, letting wearers query Claude with the phone locked, is expected in late Q3. It is a small but concrete example of frontier models moving off the screen and into everyday wearables, and of Anthropic's push beyond chat apps into consumer hardware.
