Silicon Republic reports on ServiceNow's Enterprise AI Maturity Index 2026, which surveyed more than 4,700 senior executives across 16 countries, 1,700 of them in EMEA. Regional AI maturity scored 51 out of 100, up from 34 a year ago, but AI-enabled workflows scored only 40 against 58 for leadership and strategy, an 18-point gap between intent and execution. Just 16pc said they had replaced fragmented legacy systems with an integrated platform, and while 57pc use agentic AI, only 9pc run autonomous multistep workflows. Data quality, access and management were cited as major barriers by 73pc. Organisations that closed the gap reported a 164pc return on investment, per the report.
