According to Google's release notes, Gemini Omni Flash is now rolling out globally to all Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers through the Gemini app and Google Flow. The model combines text, audio, image, and video capabilities in a single system, and is also available in YouTube Shorts Remix and the YouTube Create app for users 18 and older at no cost. Google describes the model as delivering frontier intelligence at speeds typical of the Flash series. The rollout marks another milestone in Google's push to integrate generative video into its core consumer products — an area where it faces growing competition from OpenAI and emerging video AI players. Enterprise customers should also note that Gemini 3.5 Flash was made the permanent default in the Gemini Enterprise app effective today, with the option to disable it removed.
